Mucoid bloody stools appear during defecation, ranging from pink to brownish-red, and the stools range from thick to thin and have a fishy smell.

3. In the later stage of canine distemper, the affected dog becomes highly depressed, develops neurological symptoms, foams at the mouth, and various degrees of convulsions in various parts of the body. The reaction is slow, the eyeballs are sunken, the skin is edema due to dehydration and has poor elasticity. My limbs are cold and weak, I am lying on the ground, and my heart rate is increased. Vomiting and excrement were bright red, and the skin was accompanied by red papules the size of rice grains.

Treatment methods for canine distemper:

1. In the early stage, immune serum or immunoglobulin, strong dog health, interferon, monoclonal antibodies, etc. can be injected. Be prepared for passive immunity.

2. In the mid-term, anti-infection, virus, shock and other drugs should be used, such as kanamycin, Libang, minor doxorubicin, cefazolin sodium, Canubicang, etc. To avoid dehydration due to diarrhea and vomiting, electrolyte rehydration such as glucose is required.

3. If the dog has severe convulsions in the later stage, sedative drugs can be injected, or diazepam can be taken orally. The survival rate of canine distemper in the late stages is low, and conservative treatment is generally adopted.
