The dosage of cephalosporin for cats is 20-50mg/kg. Cephalosporin is an anti-inflammatory drug and can be used twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening, with an interval of about 6 hours between each time. Infusion can use normal saline as the base fluid or direct subcutaneous injection. Cephalosporin is used continuously for about 3 days. Do not use cephalosporins for too long or use too much at one time to avoid causing drug resistance.

Potential adverse reactions in cats using cephalosporins

1. Allergic reactions. Antibiotics and penicillin drugs can easily cause allergic reactions in pets.
2. Gastrointestinal reactions, diarrhea, vomiting, etc.
3. Causes damage to the blood system and may cause a decrease in red blood cells and white blood cells.
4. Damage to liver and kidney function, causing oliguria or hematuria.
