It is not necessary to have 5 shots of rabies vaccine. This is because there are usually two vaccination schedules for rabies vaccine. The first is a five-shot vaccination schedule, that is, one shot is given on days 0, 3, 7, 14, and 28. The second is a four-shot vaccination schedule. That is, two shots are given on day 0, and one shot each on day 7 and day 21. If you are vaccinated according to the four-shot vaccination schedule, usually only four shots are needed. If you choose the five-shot vaccination schedule, five shots are required. Failure to follow vaccination procedures or omissions, deviations, etc. during the process may lead to a decrease in antibody titers, leading to immune failure.

Precautions for rabies vaccination:
