You may get rabies if you are scratched by a wild cat, because cats also have about a 2% chance of carrying rabies. Especially if wild cats have not been vaccinated, the chance of infection is higher. After being scratched by a wild cat, you should pay attention to it and go to a regular epidemic prevention center or hospital to get a rabies vaccine to produce your own antibodies and improve your own disease resistance.

How to clean the wound scratched by a wild cat:

1. First wash the wound with soap and water for more than 20 minutes, and squeeze out the blood around the bleeding wound. In some cases, pathogenic bacteria that enter the wound can be brought out through bleeding.

2. Then repeatedly apply iodine and medicinal alcohol and disinfect 2-3 times until the bleeding stops naturally.

3. Do not bandage the wound and allow it to be fully exposed. And inject rabies vaccine within 24 hours.
