Symptoms of canine distemper in Samoyed:

1. If a Samoyed gets canine distemper, the initial symptoms will be similar to a cold. For example, sneezing, runny nose, cough, fever, etc.

2. Some dogs may also show symptoms of enteritis. Such as loss of appetite, mild diarrhea, vomiting, etc. The mental state will also become sluggish and inactive.

3. After a few days, the Samoyed will return to normal body temperature and food intake, but the eating speed will slow down, the spirit will be poor, and the nose will be dry.

4. When Samoyed canine distemper develops to 7-14 days, the body temperature will rise for the second time. It may reach above 40 degrees, resulting in loss of appetite, runny nose, dry cough, rapid breathing, red, swollen, moist or eroded eyelids.

5. In the late stage of Samoyed canine distemper, the appetite is almost gone, and there are symptoms of thickened toe pads, skin pimples, and various neurological symptoms, such as leg twitching, epilepsy, paralysis, etc.
