Generally speaking, cats that have been sterilized will not go into estrus, but sometimes they will go into estrus just after the sterilization operation because the hormone levels in the body have not dropped yet. Generally, it happens randomly. As time goes by, this situation will gradually disappear. If it is found that the cat still has symptoms of estrus for a long time after sterilization, it is recommended to take the cat to the pet hospital to check the hormone levels in the body and feed the cat with hormone regulating drugs.

Precautions for sterilizing cats:

1. Wear an Elizabethan ring. Prevent the cat from licking the wound and chewing the sutures.

2. The cat needs to be deprived of food and water for 24 hours before the operation, because the anesthetic will cause the cat to vomit, and if there is food, it will easily block the trachea and nasal cavity.

3. Keep warm after the operation to prevent the cat from catching cold.

4. Take a bath one week before the operation, and do not take a bath for one month after the operation.
