Dog parvovirus is infected through direct and indirect contact. Especially the saliva, urine and vomit of sick dogs contain a large amount of the virus. Even after the sick dog recovers, it will shed the virus in its feces for a long time. Therefore, untreated sick dog secretions, excrement and dead dogs are dangerous sources of infection. In daily life, owners must pay attention to timely disinfection and do not take dogs to sick dog areas.

Symptoms of canine parvovirus:

1. Dogs with enteritis type will have a fever, the body temperature can reach about 40°C, and the nose will be dry. The main manifestations are diarrhea and vomiting. The color of the vomitus will gradually fade, and a small amount of blood may appear. In severe cases, some bile and blood may be vomited, accompanied by a bloody stench.

2. Myocarditis type is more common in dogs aged 40 days. There may be no obvious clinical symptoms, but they will show sudden difficulty breathing, heart failure, and death in a short period of time. Some dogs may also suffer from myocarditis. Death occurred suddenly after mild diarrhea.
