What should I do if the kitten’s nails bleed? First use alcohol to disinfect the kitten’s wound, then wrap it with a bandage, and then disinfect and change the bandage every day; if the kitten’s wound is deep and bleeding, or suppuration occurs, treat it immediately Go to the hospital for treatment; if iodophor is used as a disinfectant, be careful not to let the kitten lick its paws.
First, disinfect the cat’s wound with alcohol, then wrap it with a bandage. Then check, disinfect, and change the bandage once a day.
If the wound is deep and bleeding, or if there is no sign of improvement after disinfection, or if serious symptoms such as suppuration occur, please go to a pet hospital for medical treatment.
Cat saliva has anti-inflammatory properties. If the wound is not deep and the bleeding stops easily, let the cat lick it and it will be fine in a few days.
Starch can stop bleeding. Dip a little starch into the bleeding cat's paw. Once the bleeding stops, just let the cat play by itself and leave it alone.
It should be noted that if iodophor is used as a disinfectant, measures should be taken to prevent the cat from licking its paws to avoid adverse consequences.
When you cut your nails next time, be careful not to cut them too deep. Just cut off the pointed white head. Do not cut into the pink part, as it will bleed.
