Some cats have very short hair, so we don’t have to give the cat a bath, but in order to keep the cat clean, we still need to do some necessary cleaning and care. So how do we care for short-haired cats? We can wipe it with a towel. The specific method has the following steps:

1. Wet your hands with hot or cold water, first stroke the hair against the hair from the buttocks to the head two to three times, and then massage the head, back, ribs, and abdomen along the hair to remove the attached dirt and shed hair.

2. Quickly and carefully wipe off the moisture on the body with a towel to prevent the cat from catching a cold. It is best to do this in a warm place at home or in a heated room.

3. Use a clean seven-brush to gently comb the whole body, and comb the particularly dirty areas carefully. The belly and heels, which cats usually don’t like to be touched by humans, should also be carefully combed.

4. Foam shampoos sold in pet stores do not need to be washed with water. Take a small amount and rub it into your hands, then smooth it out with a brush.

5. Use a towel or paper towel to carefully wipe away the dirt and moisture on the cat, and then blow dry with a hair dryer. If your exotic shorthair cat hates hair dryers, put it in a cage or box to blow warm air from a distance.

6. After the hair is dry, brush it from beginning to end. Don’t forget to brush your chest and abdomen carefully as well. After brushing, clean the brush.
