3. Feed it on time every day and feed it some things that pet guinea pigs like to eat. Such as: green peppers, lettuce, cherry tomatoes and other fresh fruits and vegetables. However, foods with high water content such as fruits and vegetables should not be overfed as they may easily cause diarrhea in pet guinea pigs. Cruciferous and starchy foods should not be eaten.
