Cat training and dog training are not the same thing. 3. Positive reinforcement.

Petting your kitten's face or yelling at her when she makes a mess around the house is the wrong way to train her. This is the easiest way to correct your cat's behavior.

4. Don’t punish the kitten.

Punishing a kitten may seem like an improvement, but doing so will make it more cunning. For example, the kitten peed on the carpet in the middle of the living room. If you punish or scare it for doing so, it will associate the punishment with you rather than with peeing on the carpet. In this way, the kitten will be very careful not to urinate in front of you in the future.

5. When you disapprove of the kitten’s behavior, imitate the mother cat’s meow.

When a mother cat scolds her kitten, she will make a clicking sound in the back of her throat. You can try to imitate it. Trying things your kitten is used to will be more effective and suitable for training your kitten.
