Under normal circumstances, vaccinations can be arranged when a dog is 45 days old. Dogs need to be vaccinated against canine infectious diseases for the first time, and three shots are required. Currently, there are four-part vaccine, six-part vaccine, etc. on the market. You can choose the appropriate vaccine for your dog according to the actual situation. The interval between each injection is 21 days. After the last injection, you can inject the rabies vaccine one week later, and you are done. The first immunization procedure is followed by a booster immunization once a year. During the vaccination period, it is necessary to ensure that the dog is in good physical health, in good mental state, has a normal appetite, and has normal bowel movements. Try not to bathe, run outside and play with other adult dogs that have been vaccinated during the vaccination period. Generally, you can bathe and run outside normally one week after the vaccination.

Notes on taking your dog for vaccination:

1. Be sure to pay attention to the vaccine booster shot every year. It is recommended that the annual booster shot should be higher than the previous year’s. The vaccine is given half a month in advance to prevent accidents when the vaccine fails.

2. For insurance purposes, stay in the hospital for a period of time after vaccination. If your dog shows symptoms of edema, rash, or difficulty breathing, you must promptly notify the doctor for an anti-allergic injection.

3. You must go to a regular animal hospital to get vaccinated by a professional veterinarian, so as to ensure the effectiveness of the vaccine.
