Causes of gastroenteritis in Schnauzers

Gastroenteritis is divided into two types: primary gastroenteritis and secondary gastroenteritis. Primary gastroenteritis Inflammation is caused by improper daily diet, causing the Schnauzer to be hungry and full, or often feeding the Schnauzer indigestible or even rotten food and highly irritating things. As for secondary gastroenteritis, this is gastroenteritis caused by infectious diseases such as canine distemper, parvovirus, or internal parasites.

The main symptoms of Schnauzer gastroenteritis:

Initial stage: Schnauzers suffering from gastroenteritis will experience listlessness, indigestion, and decreased appetite in the early stage. Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, and often lying on the ground in a "praying posture."

Later stage: When gastroenteritis reaches the late stage, the condition will obviously worsen. Schnauzers will have unsteady walking, elevated body temperature, drooling, foaming and even convulsions. Finally, severe symptoms will occur. Dehydration is a life-threatening condition.

3. It is recommended that the owner take Schnauzer to the hospital for medical treatment in time.
