When a female honey quoll takes a bath, water can easily enter the pouch, causing inflammation, so it is not easy to give it a bath. When a female honey quoll gets dirty, it's best to wipe it clean with a wet towel or baby wipes. If the owner can ensure that water does not enter the female honey quoll's bag, they can also give it a bath and dry its hair in time after washing to avoid causing inflammation and affecting the female honey quoll's health. If you accidentally get water in the bath and cause inflammation, you should send it to a pet hospital for treatment in time.

How to clean the honey quoll:

1. It is best not to bathe the honey quoll. Because the honey quoll has a baby bag, the bath water will enter the bag. This causes moisture in the bag, which can easily breed bacteria and cause disease. If you think the smell is too strong, you only need to use a damp cloth or baby wipes without added alcohol or fragrance to wipe their bodies. You also need to change sleeping bags and clean the cage frequently.

2. The sink, bathtub, large bucket, etc. can all become its "bathtub". Sugar gliders, both male and female, cannot use cold water to bathe, and water cannot enter their ears.

3. You can use soap that does not contain creams and moisturizing ingredients as its cleaning supplies. Crystal soap is a good choice.

4. In summer, the water temperature should be kept warm (slightly higher than human body temperature); in winter, the water temperature should be appropriately higher than in summer.
