Notes on raising Chinese civet cats:

1. Civet cats are very afraid of the cold. Measures should be taken to keep them warm in winter and put a thick blanket in the cat’s nest. Or put a hot water bottle on it to keep it warm.
2. The owner should bathe the civet cat regularly to wash away the dirt on the hair to prevent the cat from being infected by bacteria.
3. The civet cat is naturally active and has a relatively large amount of exercise. It must be provided with enough space for it to move.
4. Do not overfeed the civet cat, which may easily lead to indigestion. Feed small amounts multiple times.
5. It is best not to feed civet cats human food, especially food containing salt, which can easily lead to problems such as hair loss and tear stains in civet cats.
