Pregnant cats should pay attention to external deworming

1. It must be carried out under the guidance of a veterinarian to avoid harm to the fetus.

2. Take a shower before performing external deworming. After drying, drop the deworming medicine on a place that cannot be licked. After dripping the medicine, wait for the medicine to penetrate into the skin before slowly letting go and wait for the medicine to penetrate into the skin. It is effective only when applied to hair.

3. It is best to wear an Elizabethan ring after deworming to prevent the cat from licking and scratching the applied area. If swallowed by the cat, it may cause drug poisoning or even miscarriage.

4. Try not to use insect repellent circles as they are very toxic and will harm the cat’s body.

5. Do not bathe your cat within two days after external deworming, as this will affect the efficacy of the drug.

Pregnant cats should not be sprayed with insecticides

Some scavengers will directly spray insecticides on cats to repel parasites after discovering fleas and other parasites on cats. This behavior is very dangerous! Insecticides contain highly toxic substances and are sprayed on cats. Once the hair is licked, accidents such as miscarriage and poisoning are very likely to occur; even if the cat does not lick the hair, the pesticide will penetrate into the skin, causing accidents such as skin allergies, poisoning, miscarriage or stillbirth.
