Cats suffering from heat stroke cannot be bathed. Most cats are resistant to bathing and are afraid of water. Bathing a cat when it is already weak due to heatstroke may cause stress in the cat and cause serious consequences. And suddenly immersing a cat with heatstroke in water may cause a sharp drop in body temperature, which is a very dangerous behavior.

If a cat suffers from heat stroke, you should immediately prepare a basin of cold water, moisten it with a large towel, and wrap the cat's whole body. You can also use a towel wrapped with ice cubes and place it on the side of the cat's head and neck, under the arms and near the thighs. You need to use a thermometer to measure your temperature every five minutes until the temperature drops below 39°C.
