4. Too much salt in the diet. If the hamster's food or snacks contain too much salt, the hamster will drink a lot of water to solve the problem, just like humans who eat too salty and drink more water.

5. Variety. It may be a problem with the breed of hamster. Some breeds of hamsters like to drink water.

6. This is caused by the owner failing to provide water to the hamster in time. Some hamsters will experience this situation after the water in the drinking fountain deteriorates, and then the owner changes the water source.
