Notes on raising Ji Dou:
1. Environment
You can use box-shaped containers for raising Ji Dou, such as fish tanks and storage boxes. etc. Some sawdust, bark, leaves, etc. should be placed at the bottom of the breeding box to simulate the natural growth environment of Ji Dou. There should be no hooks or other things in the box, which may easily cause Ji Dou to be injured.
2. Feeding
You can usually buy insect jelly to feed Ji Dou, or you can also feed some fruits, such as apples, bananas, cantaloupe, etc., but be sure to replace them in time to avoid Fruit rots and deteriorates, attracting flies to lay eggs and polluting the environment.
3. Temperature
The breeding box should be placed in a cool and ventilated place as much as possible to prevent the death of Ji Dou due to excessive temperature.
