Selection tips for two-month-old Ragdoll cats:

1. Face. Does the face shape of the Ragdoll cat conform to an equilateral triangle? It cannot be too long or the face shape is too round.

2. How symmetrical are the faces? Are the foot pads and nose pink? Are there any extra patches of color on the back?

3. Eyes. Observe that the eyes of Ragdoll cats are blue, and the eye pigments generally require the bluer the better.

4. Body shape. Ragdoll cat body requirements are that the rectangular trunk should not be too short, and the length of the legs should not be too short or too long.

5. Hair. Ragdoll cats with good pedigrees already have small scarves when they are young, and the amount of hair will be obvious.

How to identify the appearance of Ragdoll cats:

1. Large size. Ragdoll cats are one of the largest cats in existence. Purebred Ragdoll cats generally look very big. If they are skinny, they are not purebred cats.

For pure-blooded Ragdoll cats, adult male cats weigh 12 to 20 pounds; female cats weigh about 10 to 15 pounds.

2. The head is triangular and the tips of the ears are rounded. The head shape of a purebred Ragdoll cat is not too small, resembling an equilateral triangle. Their ears are widely spaced, the tips of the ears are rounded, and the ears are tilted slightly forward. Viewed from the side, a purebred Ragdoll cat's chin is in line with its upper lip and nose.

3. Symmetrical inverted V shape, straight face. A good-looking Ragdoll cat will have a symmetrical inverted V shape on its face, and the splay pattern on its face must be straight and cannot be too small or too large.

4. Dark blue eyes, almond shape. Purebred Ragdoll cats have almond-shaped eyes, and their eye color must be dark blue, which looks very deep, beautiful and mysterious.

5. The limbs are of medium length, and the hind limbs are longer than the forelimbs. The limbs of purebred Ragdoll cats are of medium length, the hind limbs are slightly longer than the forelimbs, and the hair on the hind limbs is relatively longer. This structure allows Ragdoll cats to better complete jumping and other actions.

6. The coat is rich and has a scarf on the chest. Purebred Ragdoll cats have rich coats, thick limbs, soft bodies, and a texture as smooth as rabbit fur. The hair on their necks is thick and often looks like they are wearing a scarf.
