It is recommended to turn on the air conditioner when raising cats in summer. Although cats are relatively heat-resistant, it does not mean that they will not suffer from heatstroke in hot weather. Therefore, you can turn on the air conditioner to cool down the cat, but you must pay attention to controlling the temperature, preferably above 27 degrees. If the cat is very young, it is not recommended to use air conditioning. The cat only needs to be placed in a place with a suitable temperature and away from direct sunlight, and sufficient drinking water needs to be prepared.

Precautions for raising cats in summer:

1. Do not shave the cat’s hair. If the cat’s hair is shaved, the skin will be exposed to direct sunlight and cause sunburn. It can also make cats feel depressed.

2. Don’t let the cat get too hot and get heat stroke. After the cat has heat stroke, the cat will lose appetite, start to have a rise in body temperature, and then start to gasp for air, walk unsteadily and other symptoms.

3. Summer is also the peak season for the breeding of various parasites. In addition to preventing heatstroke, parasite protection for cats is also very important.
