Precautions for breeding turtles

1. When raising pet turtles, you need to pay attention to the water level not being too deep. The water level is better to submerge the pet turtle. If you raise a pet turtle, the water level is too deep. , it is easy for the turtle to drown. If the water level is too low, the carapace of the pet turtle will be deformed. If the pet turtle is kept dry, the pet turtle will easily become dehydrated and die. The water level must be controlled.

2. There is no need to feed pet turtles every day. Generally, they are fed once every 2 to 3 days. Feeding more different types of feed, fresh meat, and food diversity ensure the health of the turtle. In addition, you can add some vitamins, calcium tablets, oxytetracycline, etc. to the food to enhance the turtle's immunity.

3. Let the turtle bask in the sun every day, but avoid noon time to avoid excessive temperature.

4. Be sure to keep the water quality clean and change the water for the little turtle at any time. Because turtles spend most of their time in the water, turtle food residues and turtle excrement will be in the water. If the water is not changed frequently, the baby turtle will get sick.
