Chinchillas are easy to raise. Compared with cats and dogs, chinchillas are a particularly easy-to-keep animal. Chinchillas themselves love to be clean, have a very docile personality, and will not cause trouble. Chinchillas are very timid. If the owner is very gentle, then the chinchilla will be very easy to raise. If the owner has a bad temper and becomes hot after doing things for three minutes, then the chinchilla will be difficult to raise.

Precautions for raising chinchillas

1. Chinchillas are very sensitive to temperature. 15 to 23 degrees Celsius is its optimal survival temperature. It cannot stay for a long time. In an environment below 5 degrees Celsius, the maximum temperature cannot exceed 28 degrees Celsius.

2. Chinchillas are timid by nature. Do not pet them when you first raise them. They are very frightened and will leave trauma on their young minds, which is not conducive to future interactions.

3. Chinchillas like a cool place with good air circulation, but they should not be placed in a drafty area. This can easily cause the chinchilla to catch a cold, which is detrimental to its health.
