Under normal circumstances, rabbits can be successfully bred once. If it does not go well, it will take about five times to successfully breed. There are three breeding methods for rabbits: natural breeding, artificial assisted breeding, and artificial insemination. Generally, natural breeding is used. Just put the male rabbit and the female rabbit in estrus in a cage and raise them together. After a while, the breeding will be successful. The other two methods will only be used when natural breeding fails, and generally require a professional pet doctor to operate.

Indications of successful rabbit breeding:

1. The weight of the adult female rabbit is very stable, but after successful breeding, the female rabbit’s weight will increase significantly in a short period of time. Appetite will also increase significantly.

2. About a week after successful breeding, the female rabbit’s abdomen will bulge, and meat balls can be felt on her abdomen.

3. After successful breeding, the female rabbit will become less active. She no longer likes to jump as before, becomes quieter and more alert.
