The symptoms of heat stroke in hamsters include: they will become excited at first, look particularly crazy, and run around. If the hamster is not cooled down in time, after a period of time, the hamster will become listless, lose appetite, Symptoms include reluctance to move, inability to stand normally, body heat, rapid breathing, and red ears.

How to deal with hamster heat stroke:

1. Immediately put it in an air-conditioned room. It is best to put a towel in a box and place the hamster face up. . Pull up a towel to block the wind and cover the hamster's abdomen, hands and feet (cooling while also keeping the chest and body warm).

2. Dip a cotton swab into physiological saline containing glucose and apply it on the hamster's mouth. If the hamster is conscious, it will swallow it subconsciously. If the rat is unconscious, we have to turn its head upward and gently push the rat's mouth to help the liquid enter the intestines.

3. If the situation of the rat is very urgent: kicking the legs, breathing through the mouth, breathing rapidly or not responding at all. At this time, you need to take some Jiuxin Pills while keeping Shushu warm, and stuff them into Shushu's mouth.

4. After a period of time, the hamster gradually becomes conscious and will spit out the pills subconsciously. At this time, we also need to regularly replenish the hamster with saline.

5. Replenish physiological saline regularly for about 3 hours (it does not need to be given very frequently). If the mouse reacts a little, what we have to do is to wrap the mouse in a towel and expose the breathable place, place it in an air-conditioned room and have a good rest.
