1. Food habits. The food of parrot fish is complex, and artificial bait, picks, pellets, etc. can all become its food. However, parrot fish are greedy, so do not feed too much. Excessive feeding will cause indigestion in parrot fish and easily cause enteritis. For example, some pellet feeds easily swell when exposed to water. If fed too much, the expansion will squeeze the internal organs of parrot fish and threaten the health of parrot fish.

2. Mainly feed live bait. Feeding them can mainly be based on live bait, such as red worms, silkworms, etc. Silk earthworms are rich in protein and can survive in water for a long time. By feeding on live earthworms, you can make the parrot fish active and increase its amount of exercise. However, silk earthworms are prone to parasites, so disinfection must be done before feeding.

3. Feed once a day. Before each feeding, the fish feel hungry and have to come out to find food. Some people would say that the fish should not be fed too much. First, there is no problem if you are hungry, but if you eat too much, you will easily get sick. If you think about nature, fish have to look for food all day long, and often the weak eat the strong.
