1. The best time for dog breeding is: at dawn in the morning. Because it is quieter at this time, the dog's sexual desire is also better, and mating is easier, even in the cool evening. At the same time, pay attention to choosing a quiet venue to avoid being disturbed by idle people.

2. When the female dog is ready to mate, the female dog will put her tail aside. Then the male dog will take the initiative to approach the female dog, then ride on the female dog's back, and preliminary ejaculation will occur. Part of the male dog's penis (the glans penis) swells and moves into place, joining each other.

3. After successful mating, the male dog’s penis will be locked in the female dog’s vagina, and the male dog will turn sideways to form a state where the two dogs are connected. Don't force them to separate at this time. This state usually lasts for 20 to 30 minutes and then ends naturally. During this process, attention should be paid to stabilizing the female dog to avoid forcibly twisting and causing injury to the male dog.

4. Although supervision is not required at this stage, some caution must be exercised. The female dog may suddenly become aggressive or twist prematurely, causing damage to the male dog.

Notes on dog breeding:

1. Keep a close eye on female dogs in heat to prevent them from being secretly bred to unselected male dogs, which may affect the quality of their offspring. ; Male dogs are not allowed to go out to look for female dogs in heat, otherwise they will easily be infected with diseases or be bitten by other male dogs due to competition for mates.

2. Breeding should be carried out in a quiet and clean place. Except for the dog owner, other people should not be allowed to watch or make noise.

3. Do not drink water or engage in strenuous exercise immediately after breeding. The male and female dogs should be allowed to return to the kennel for a short rest.

4. Male dogs should not mate frequently to avoid affecting their health and shortening their breeding life. Adult male dogs mate once a day and should take a day off every 3-4 days. Occasionally, they mate twice in one day, with an interval of more than 6 hours, and must rest the next day. The frequency of breeding between young male dogs and older male dogs should be reduced. When the number of breedings is increased as a last resort, nutrition should be strengthened to compensate. Male dogs over 12 years old should generally not be bred.

5. Although female dogs can reproduce twice a year, too many births will affect the physical constitution of both the female dog and the puppies.
