The diets of turtles of different ages are different. Young turtles are recommended to be fed juvenile turtle food, and adult turtles are recommended to be fed adult turtle food. Secondly, different species of tortoises may have different foods. For example, tortoises generally eat grass and other vegetarian foods, so they can be fed vegetables and fruits. Brazilian turtles and snapping turtles mainly feed on meat, so they can be fed meat, fish or turtle food.

What turtles cannot eat:

1. Turtles cannot eat foods that are too nutritious, such as egg yolks, cucumbers, artificial meat, etc. Try not to feed them. This type of food can easily cause indigestion or liver and kidney damage in turtles.

2. The food fed to the turtle should not contain thorns and bones to avoid injury to the turtle. It is best to feed fresh raw meat. The cooked meat will become hard. Turtles do not like to eat hard things.

3. Turtles cannot eat foods with high salt content, such as ham, seafood, etc., because their body mechanisms cannot metabolize them.
