Wolf spiders do not recognize their owners. Spiders are cold-blooded animals and do not understand human nature. Moreover, the memory of the wolf spider is particularly short, and it has no ability to recognize its owner. No matter how long they are kept, they will not become affectionate or dependent on their owners like cats and dogs. However, after being raised for a long time, the wolf spider will take the initiative to find the owner in order to get food. This is a conditioned reflex.

How to raise wolf spiders

1. Prepare a 20×20×30 transparent box with a lid and ventilation holes. The size of the ventilation holes cannot be larger than that of the spider. Prevent spiders from escaping.

2. Use a wooden stick or other object with a diameter of 3 cm and insert it into the soil at an angle of less than 45 degrees. Then carefully pull it out to form an artificial acupoint. What needs to be paid attention to is that the soil should not be too loose, otherwise the cave will collapse, and it should not be too solid, otherwise the spider will not be able to continue digging by itself.

3. Place a bottle cap with a diameter of about 3 cm in a corner of the soil surface, and put a clean sponge inside. There should always be clean water in the sponge for the spider to drink.

4. Wolf spiders mainly feed on crickets, if not, mealworms are also acceptable.
