How to identify dystocia in a Chihuahua? If the Chihuahua is more than 72 days old from the day of breeding, the dog may have a dystocia; the Chihuahua’s abdomen has obviously contracted strongly for more than 30 minutes, and still no puppies are born; the amniotic membrane of the Chihuahua has ruptured, and the amniotic fluid flows out, but the amount of amniotic fluid does not exceed 72 days. No puppies were born within two hours.

2. The dog mother’s abdomen contracted obviously and strongly for more than 30 minutes but she still did not give birth to a puppy;

3. The mother dog was in severe pain and no puppies were born;

4. The Chihuahua’s amniotic membrane ruptured and amniotic fluid came out, but no puppies were born within more than two hours;

5. The mother dog seemed very weak and had no strength to give birth.
