1. Leftovers
Pomeranians cannot eat the leftovers that we humans eat, because the digestive system of dogs is different from that of humans. The meals we eat contain too much salt, which is bad for their health. Some of the food we eat is so sticky that it will stick to the teeth of dogs and make them unable to swallow it.
2. Grapes and raisins
If your dog has never eaten grapes, I advise you not to feed it to it. It may cause poisoning, vomiting, and not eating. In severe cases, it may suffer from kidney failure or even coma and death.
3. Raw meat
Raw meat may contain bacteria such as salmonella and E. coli, which can easily cause vomiting and diarrhea in dogs. If you want to feed your dog meat, it is best to cook it.
4. Onions and garlic
Onions contain n-propyl disulfide, which can cause anemia in dogs, damage bone marrow, and irritate their gastrointestinal tract. Same with garlic
5.Chocolate
Chocolate contains a large amount of theobromine and a small amount of caffeine. If a dog eats too much chocolate, it will cause muscle spasms and even shock. After taking theobromine and caffeine, the dog's heart rate will suddenly increase to more than twice the normal rate, and some will run around wildly, just like drinking a large cup of strong coffee.
6. Raw eggs
Raw eggs contain a lot of bacteria and microorganisms, which may cause vomiting and diarrhea in dogs; and raw eggs contain an antibiotic protein that can cause harm to dogs. Heating can kill this protein, so cooked eggs do not question.
7. Chicken, duck, fish and other bones
When dogs eat, they don’t chew it fully. In most cases, they swallow it directly. The fragile bones are hollow inside. If the dog eats it, it can easily nick the esophagus or even puncture the stomach, causing life-threatening consequences. You can grind the teeth of some big-boned dogs, or buy some chicken jerky.
8.Alcoholic beverages
Needless to say, the dangers of alcohol. Alcohol will destroy the liver and kidney function of dogs, and can cause poisoning, coma and even death.
