You can feed the dog according to the recommended reference amount for the dog's weight on the food, and observe the quality of the dog's stool to see whether it is too much or too little. So that you can increase or decrease the amount appropriately next time. This is a more perfect feeding method.
Generally, the dog is fed about 3% to 5% of its body weight, such as 30-50 grams per kilogram of body weight per day. Then divide the amount of feeding per day by the number of times to get the amount of feeding per time.
Of course, it doesn’t matter if it’s a little more or less. The data is only for reference, and it needs to be adjusted according to the actual situation of the dog.
Observe the dog's poop: Normal poop is a little soft but shaped and should not be sticky. Food should not be in its original form. If the dog’s feces is soft, shapeless, and even contains undigested food, it is obvious that they have been fed too much and their feeding should be reduced. On the contrary, if you have dry stools, you must have eaten less.
