1. Food does not need to have a high protein content, but try to choose high-quality protein sources, which are easier to digest.

3. Food needs to contain non-fermentable dietary fiber (such as cellulose), while fermentable fiber (such as beet pulp and fructooligosaccharides) needs to be avoided.

4. Choose "light" food. Usually when we talk about feeding “light” food to dogs, we don’t mean “less salty and less spicy” like humans eat (of course that’s impossible), but rather to reduce foods with high fat content and easy irritation (big meat, fried foods).

Reduce the amount of food fed per time
