How to judge if a dog has eaten a mango

1. If the dog eats a mango core smaller than the size of a fist and does not feel any discomfort, please observe it first and do not rush to treatment.
2. If the dog eats a mango core that is larger than the size of a fist, it needs to be induced to vomit immediately, because the mango core is too large and difficult to digest, which can easily cause gastroenteritis or even worse.

Solution to dog eating mango

1. Inducing vomiting: The owner needs to boil pumpkin in water, soak flax seeds in hot water and add about 3% medical hydrogen peroxide to the dog. One pound of pumpkin, peeled and seeded, boil the pumpkin flesh in boiled water until soft, pour the flaxseed in without boiling it, add hydrogen peroxide and give it to the dog. If the dog doesn't want to eat it, it can only forcefully pour it into its mouth with a spoon.
2. Observation: If the dog can vomit after using the method of inducing vomiting, then rest for half a day and it will be fine; if the vomiting does not come out, you can consider taking some laxatives to help eliminate it. If there is serious discomfort, you need to see a veterinarian.
3. Care: For care after inducing vomiting, owners need to pay attention to feeding more digestible food and letting the dog drink more water to help recovery.
