How to train a Scottish Shepherd

1. Put a collar on Su Mu and take him to a quiet room;
2. Let him sit down while you stand in front of him and face him;

4. Then say "lassie, pay attention" (Note, Lassie is the name of a pet dog);

Repeat this staring process once or twice a day for a week.
Then take your dog for a walk, carrying his favorite snacks in your pocket. When his attention is not on you, stop and clearly call his name. If he doesn't look at you right away, give him a little tug on the leash (this isn't to correct his behavior but to get his attention), and when he comes back to see you, praise him and give him a snack.

Then keep walking, looking for opportunities to repeat the drill when he's not paying attention to you. But remember, after a maximum of three to five such sessions, you should stop and retrain the next day.
