Symptoms of dogs being stung by bees

Research has found that bee venom mainly contains formic acid, neurotoxins and histamine. After a person is stung, the main symptoms are local severe pain, burning, redness and swelling or the formation of blisters. After being stung by a swarm of bees or a more venomous wasp, the symptoms are severe and may include dizziness, headache, chills, fever, irritability, convulsions and syncope. A few may experience laryngeal edema, asthma, vomiting, abdominal pain, increased heart rate, decreased blood pressure, shock and coma. Of course, after a dog is stung by a bee, its reaction symptoms will be similar to human symptoms. What to do if your dog is stung by a bee

First, find the part where the bee stung your pet dog, and then find the bee sting and pull it out. Bee stingers are easy to find and easy to pull out. Then find a way to suck the poison out of the dog's body and reduce the dog's body's absorption of toxins. You can try squeezing the stung area or cupping the stung area to suck out the poison.

Secondly, you can prepare 3% ammonia solution, 5% sodium bicarbonate solution or soapy water to clean the wound. Note that topical application of acetic acid or vinegar is not required for wasp stings.
If conditions permit, you can apply one of the following herbs (mashed for external application) around the dog's wound, such as purpurea, lobelia, aesculus, dandelion, etc. It is worth reminding that if your pet dog has mental disorder, difficulty breathing, etc. after being stung by a bee, you must send it to the hospital quickly, and do not delay the treatment time.
