What breeds are there?
There are only four main breeds of Bichon Frize: Maltese Bichon Frize, Tenerife Bichon Frize, Havana Bichon Frize, and Bolognese Bichon Frize. These are all small dogs, among which the more common one in China is the Tenerife Bichon Frize. The Bichon Frize has curly and fluffy hair that is often trimmed into a rounded ball shape. There is also a Maltese Bichon Frize, which is a straight long-haired dog that is very different from curly hair. The hair almost grows to completely cover the entire body, especially the hair on the head. If it is not tied up artificially, it will basically be covered. Keep your eyes open. The other two types of Bichon Frize are rare in China.
