Kittens may not be able to scare away mice, because today’s kittens leave their mother cats relatively early and may not have learned the ability to catch mice, so they may not necessarily catch mice after seeing them, and may even treat mice as friends. They live in peace, and some mice are bolder now, so they may not necessarily be afraid of smaller cats.

If the kitten is timid and docile, it may be afraid of mice.
