Why can’t dogs eat salt?
Dogs can eat salt, but they cannot eat too much salt. Salt contains sodium chloride. Excessive consumption will cause an electrolyte imbalance, causing dogs to suffer from internal heat and excessive drinking and urination. In severe cases, salt poisoning may occur, so we must control the dog’s salt intake.
Tip:
The body structure of dogs is very different from that of humans. There are many things that humans can eat that dogs cannot eat.
