How to measure dog’s temperature
The most accurate way to measure a dog's temperature is the rectal temperature. You can take a human thermometer, wrap it in plastic, dip it in some lubricant, and then insert it into the dog's anus to measure. The normal body temperature of dogs is 37.5 to 38.5 degrees, and the body temperature of puppies will be about half a degree higher. When we find that the dog's body temperature is abnormal, we must find out the cause in time.
Tip:
Because the dog’s heat dissipation is mainly through the foot pads, we can also judge the dog’s body temperature by touching the foot pads.
