Cats need to fast for 6-8 hours after having diarrhea. If it has been more than 6 hours, the owner can feed the cat some light and easy-to-digest food. If it has not yet reached 6 hours, the owner can give the cat more water and eat a small amount. Eat liquids to relieve hunger.
