Why won’t cats let their bellies be touched?
0 Jul 05,2024
The reasons why cats smell their owners’ mouths and noses:
1. When cats are playing with their owners, they smell their owners’ mouths just out of curiosity and to express goodwill.
2. If the owner is motionless while sleeping, the cat will want to get closer to understand the owner's condition.
3. Cats’ sense of smell is very sensitive. If the owner eats exciting food or food that the cat likes, the cat will also smell the owner’s mouth.
Tip:
Cats rely on their keen sense of smell to determine where food is stored, and female cats also rely on their sense of smell to identify their babies.
