Cats cannot heal themselves if they get ringworm. The causative agents of cat ringworm are Microsporum and Malassezia, which are fungal skin diseases. Cat ringworm will continue to multiply on the skin, absorb skin nutrients, damage the skin and coat, and cat ringworm is contagious and may spread throughout the body and be transmitted to humans.

What should I do if my cat gets catnip?
