The symptoms of feline AIDS in the acute stage are fever, listlessness, diarrhea and other symptoms. In the incubation period, cats will develop lymphadenopathy, while in the chronic phase, cats will develop diseases such as stomatitis, gingivitis, and periodontitis, as well as symptoms such as upper respiratory tract infection or fever.

Acute phase:

Typical manifestations include lymphadenopathy, fever, and malaise. Diarrhea or anemia may occur.

Incubation period:

Mild lymph gland lesions are usually seen.

Chronic phase:

Characteristic symptoms are stomatitis, gingivitis and periodontitis; chronic unresponsive diarrhea; stubborn upper respiratory tract infection; unexplained fever; neurological symptoms: such as behavioral changes, mental abnormalities, dementia, facial distortion or twitching .
