　1. The cat is too hot

Because cats’ bodies have poor heat dissipation and because cats have no sweat glands, they can only dissipate heat through their body surfaces. Therefore, when the ambient temperature is high, cats will dissipate heat through their thin ears.

After a cat suffers from a cold, the fever will cause the cat’s ears to become hot, and the cat will suffer from loss of appetite, lack of energy, and a dry nose. The owner should provide timely cooling and treatment to prevent the condition from getting worse.

　3. Infectious diseases

Cats suspected of suffering from infectious diseases such as pneumonia and sepsis will cause the cat's body temperature to rise significantly, and the cat's normal body temperature will be higher than that of humans. It must be measured with a thermometer. If it is an infectious disease, it must be treated in time.
