Nowadays, many families raise cats, and there are more and more patients with cat rash. The cat rash is not very serious, but if it grows on the body or face, it is still very uncomfortable. Some are itchy, some are A slight pain, but if left untreated, it will continue to spread.

Feline ringworm is an infection caused by Microsporum canis, which is an animal-loving fungus (common in animals). If you are in close contact with cats, once Microsporum canis occurs in humans, the inflammatory reaction is often more severe, and itching may occur at first. It's more obvious, and some will cause slight pain. Therefore, during the initial treatment, it is best to use a combination of hormone-containing compound preparations and antifungal drugs, such as parisone combined with netifen and ketoconazole cream, which is anti-inflammatory and antifungal together. Apply each twice a day and wait for a few days. Once the redness and swelling are reduced and the itching is relieved, antifungal preparations alone can be used again. If the disease is more severe in adults, systemic treatment with oral antifungal drugs can be considered, but liver function must be checked and only if the liver function is good can it be considered.

But it’s not just topical skin treatments. During the treatment, you should no longer be intimate with the cat. It is not recommended to keep the cat. Even if you keep the cat, do not go to bed. Therefore, all things and underwear that the cat has come into contact with must be boiled in boiling water or exposed to the sun for sterilization.
