It is quite superstitious to say that you should not have cats in the first litter, because in traditional wisdom, cats in the first litter are considered to be more fragile, and the mother cat has little experience in raising babies, resulting in a very low survival rate for these cats. Low, so many people think that they should not have cats in the first litter. But in fact, as long as you take good care of them, it doesn't matter which litter they are.

How to take care of newborn kittens correctly?

1. Cats should keep warm when they are just born. The suitable temperature is above 25 degrees Celsius. You can put a mat in the nest and use a constant temperature lamp to keep warm in winter.

2. Let the kitten eat colostrum as soon as possible. If there is no breast milk, it can be artificially fed with goat milk powder specially designed for pets.

3. Newborn cat babies cannot defecate on their own, so the cat will generally lick the puppy’s anus to help stimulate its defecation. If the cat is not numb, the owner can use a cotton swab or cotton ball, moisten it with warm water, and gently touch the cat's anus to help stimulate the cat's defecation.
