Because Samoyeds are sled dogs and live in the extremely cold areas of Siberia all year round, Samoyeds living in cities are more afraid of heat. If the weather is too hot, Samoyeds will put their bellies on the cold ground, or crawl into air-conditioned rooms when they see them. If the temperature is not lowered in time, heat stroke symptoms such as loss of appetite, drooling, slow reaction, and increased frequency of breathing may occur. In severe cases, convulsions or blood in the stool may occur, requiring prompt hospital treatment.
