Cats today cannot eat raw eggs. Cats’ gastrointestinal organs are relatively fragile. Raw eggs may contain a large number of bacteria, such as salmonella and E. coli, which can cause diarrhea and vomiting. Moreover, egg liquid contains a large amount of avidin, and eating too much will destroy the vitamin in the cat's body. It is recommended not to feed raw egg liquid to cats. If you want to supplement nutrition, it is recommended to feed an appropriate amount of cooked egg yolk.

The correct way to feed eggs to cats:

1. The most common way is to boil eggs with shells. When the eggs are completely cooked, peel them. Break the egg yolk and egg white together into small pieces and feed them to your cat. After all, cats’ teeth are relatively weak at dividing food, so the scrapper needs to break the whole egg into pieces first. However, there may be a problem with this feeding method, that is, some cats who have not eaten eggs since childhood may not like eating eggs, and there is no need to force them.

2. The second way to make eggs is to mix them into cat rice or steamed chicken. Let’s take steamed chicken as an example. Buy chicken breasts or drumsticks, cut them into cubes and put them on a plate. Beat in the eggs and mix well. Then steam them in a steamer for 15-20 minutes. Use chopsticks to tear the chicken apart. The chicken will be cooked if there is no pink inside. After that, bring it to room temperature and feed the cat with the chicken soup on the plate.

3. It is recommended not to let cats eat too many eggs in a short period of time. It is usually recommended to feed them twice a week. At the same time, eggs cannot be used as the cat’s staple food. The cat’s staple food should be cat food or Pure meat and eggs can only be used as supplementary snacks.
