The golden retriever may have loose bowels after eating deworming, which may be due to the following three reasons: 1. Stress response, which is an adaptive response of the golden retriever; 2. Excessive dosage. All drugs have certain irritation, which may be caused by the dosage. It over-stimulates the Golden Retriever’s gastrointestinal tract; 3. It suffers from gastrointestinal diseases. After taking anthelmintics, it is easy to have diarrhea and bloody stools.

Tip:

When the golden retriever has symptoms of diarrhea, the owner should stop feeding and fast for about a day. During this period, the owner should still provide drinking water normally. After the fast is over, feed the Golden Retriever some easy-to-digest food to prevent the Golden Retriever's gastrointestinal tract from being stimulated and having diarrhea again. The golden retriever should be dewormed regularly and should not be allowed to eat dirty things outside.
